Erasmus+ is a key European Union programme aimed at supporting the fields of education, vocational training, youth, and sport in Europe. The estimated budget for the programme is 26.2 billion euros, which is almost double the funding of the previous period (2014-2020).
The 2021-2027 programme prioritizes social inclusion, the environmental (“green”), and digital transitions, as well as the active engagement of young people in democratic life.
It serves as a tool for implementing the priorities and measures defined within the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan, and the European Skills Agenda. Additionally, the programme:

contributes to the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights;

ensures the implementation of the EU Youth Strategy for 2019-2027;

promotes the development of the European dimension in sport.
